In April 2024, Sinopec announced the completion of its Fushenre 1 well in Hainan, which reached a depth of 5,200 meters, setting a new record of the deepest geothermal exploration well in China. HYST supplies casings for the well, ensuring the successful drilling of China's first deep geothermal exploration well over 5,000 meters.
